Hellishly cute!

C.G.Chimp is an illustrator, lowbrow painter and comic book letterer from Northern Ireland.

He draws his influences from the consumer driven cartoon shows and toy lines of the late 80s/ early 90s. Into this mix he injects a hearty dose of pink, cute puppies, heavy metal, horror, trash culture, comics, gore, Satan and politics, which results in brightly coloured paintings with a broad appeal.

Weird Cuteness 

My personal work is mixture of neon pink cuteness and nihilistic stark black and white paintings.

Mostly doggos, still life and things that catch my eye.

I'm heavily influenced by surrealism, comicbooks, trash 80s horror, Heavy Metal graffiti and cute 80s cartoons.

I'm mostly producing personal work at the moment but am available for street work and comissions, hit me up!

What i do

I'm a lowbrow painter and comic book letterer working from Northern Ireland. 

I've painted at events like UpFest Bristol, Hit the North Belfast and various other street art festivals in Europe.

I've shown work at galleries like Clutter Gallery NYC, UpFest Bristol, It's All Too Much Bristol and various other galleries and pubs in the UK and Europe.

My lettering has been featured in Titan Comics, Heavy Metal, Berserker Comics and a host of indie publications.
